Hi, I'm Ander Fernandez

About Me

Hey! I'm Ander 👋 — a double-degree grad in Physics and Electronic Engineering from UPV/EHU. Basically, I couldn't decide whether I wanted to understand how the universe works or build stuff that actually works in real life… so I chose both.

Somewhere along the way, I fell into the rabbit hole of Artificial Intelligence and data analysis — magical tools that turn piles of numbers into something that almost looks like reasoning. That obsession led me to an MSc in Big Data & AI, and since then I've bounced between projects ranging from teaching ML to recognize plasma states in a particle accelerator (which even made it into a conference as my first-author paper), to applying socio-physics to politics.

Science fascinates me, technology excites me, and I'm hopelessly curious about how intelligence (human or artificial) really works. When I'm not coding, building demos, or overthinking free will, you'll probably find me reading sci-fi, losing hours in video games, or scribbling half-baked ideas that sometimes escape into things like this site.

I built this page from scratch (no drag-and-drop templates here), partly to show my projects and partly because I'm a bit stubborn. If something looks off, blame the programmer 😅.
